🕶️ Who is Benny? He’s the mischievous invisible little gremlin that pops up when your child steps into a toy store with a few bucks in their pocket. Candy! Oh Cool Sunglasses!, Lava Pen!… Sound familiar? Congratulations. Your child has met Benny the Budget Buster. He’s taking residence in every kid’s mind ( & even in ours!)
💥 Why Does Benny Always Wins (Unless You Plan for Him)
Well Benny shows up when there’s:
No budget -No clear goal-No adult guidance-No delayed gratification skills
But no worries, I got you! You can make a game out of Benny and turn your child into a Budget Buster Buster. 🦸
Here’s fun ways to beat Benny while having a laugh:
Never Forget About BENNY
Whatever your kid want to spend on toys or sweets or other stuff. When they feel a temptation to blow their money, tell them to say:
“Uh oh. Benny’s back!”

Make Him Real; You pretend to be Benny:

“Spending is fun! let’s buy this & that”
Let Your Kid think & respond, you continue until he answer’s something like:
“Nope. I’m saving for ……, Bye Bye Benny. Try again next week!”
What does Benny Want Them To Buy? Write it down.
Take a paper with your kid & write down every things Benny has tried to convince them to buy this day. Wait for a week & discuss with them whether they still want that ball or not. ( explain it to them them like a game, kids don’t like to wait)
You will be demonstrating instant awareness of impulse spending.
